Iconic Designs – Brand Evolution Project
Project Scope
We were commissioned to refresh the Iconic Designs logo and extend the new identity across marketing materials and brand elements. The updated design is bold, modern, and impactful—an evolutionary upgrade that stays true to the brand’s vibrant spirit while positioning it for the future.
Background
Iconic Designs is known for transforming bold statement prints into sleek, everyday garments that stand out effortlessly. Founded by Martie Walker after a serendipitous trip to Shanghai in 2014, the brand has grown from its first 26 rolls of fabric to over 1,000 rolls annually, supplying more than 50 boutiques nationwide. Martie’s travels continue to inspire limited-edition collections, with Iconic embracing both colourful prints and versatile staples in rayon and linen.
Design Approach
Our creative direction focused on capturing Iconic’s essence:
- Bold yet refined – a logo that reflects the brand’s fearless use of colour and print.
- Modern evolution – keeping the heritage intact while introducing a fresh, contemporary edge.
- Versatile application – adaptable across garments, marketing collateral, and digital platforms.

She is vibrant, confident, and unapologetically unique. She seeks statement pieces that flatter her figure and elevate her everyday style. Always on the move, she values easy-to-wear designs that fit seamlessly into her lifestyle. The refreshed brand identity mirrors her energy—bold, stylish, and timeless.
